Preschool for the Arts is affiliated with Westwoods Center of Performing Arts (WCPA).

WCPA offers three other programs in addition to our preschool program for students of all ages (12 mos – Adult)…

Dance Program
At WCPA students may take part in a variety of dance classes including Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip-Hop and Musical Theater. These classes are offered for students 4-18 years old. WCPA’s faculty brings energy and experience to the classroom, providing students with an excellent dance education and a fun and exciting learning environment!

WCPA has a renowned children’s dance program, specializing in classes for toddlers and preschoolers, where classes will engage your child with songs, music, games and instruments, while introducing them to the basics of tap and creative movement. Children will use their imaginations and express themselves through movement, while focusing on coordination, strength and gross motor skills.

WCPA has a competitive dance team for those interested.

Music Program
WCPA offers Private Lessons in Piano, Guitar, Voice and Violin. All Private Lessons are ½ hour long, where students get individualized attention from University Trained Teachers. WCPA offers more than one teacher for each instrument, to meet the learning styles of each individual student.

Group Music Classes consist of Group Keyboarding and Group Guitar for beginning level students (ages 4-9), Tiny Tot Music and Preschool Music Classes, Little Idols Singing Class and Musical Theater.

Gymnastics Program
WCPA's gymnastic program consists of tot classes, pre-school classes, school-aged programs and pre-competitive and competitive classes. School-aged programs are broken down into beginning, advanced beginning and intermediate levels, giving each age and ability level the attention they deserve. A boys class is available for boys ages 4-9 years old.
